Butt welding is a welding technique used to connect parts which are nearly parallel and don’t overlap. It can be used to run a processing machine continuously, as opposed to having to restart such machine with a new supply of metals.Butt-welding is an economical and reliable way of jointing without using additional components.
HDPE pipes in a variety of applications in mining, industrial, agricultural and municipal. Because a good HDPE is also used in chemical waste and slurry applications. It has a lot of features and benefits such as greater flexibility that translates to ease of installation and fewer joints, long lengths of up to 100 meters, UV resistant, several jointing methods, high abrasive resistant, low mass, smooth bore, corrosion resistant, compatibility with other materials.
Extrusion welding allows the application of bigger welds in a single weld pass. It is the preferred technique for joining material over 6 mm thick. Welding rod is drawn into a miniature hand held plastic extruder, plasticized, and forced out of the extruder against the parts being joined, which are softened with a jet of hot air to allow bonding to take place.
Plain pipes are jointed by means of electrofusion (EF) fitting incorporating an electrical heating coil which when electrically activated for the appropriate time by electrofusion welding machine, melts the surface of the pipe & fitting together resulting in complete fusion of the pipe and electrofusion fitting. There is a barcode label on each of the EFfittings. This label includes fusion parameters (such as welding voltage and duration).

We also do manufacturing of special fittings and manufolds on high density polyethelene, polypropelene and steel pipes. We are fully mobile and do site work on all piping and installation. We have machinery to do – butt welding from 63mm to 1000mm, Electro fusion welding up to 1000mm, extrusion welding to weld sheets of HDPE, PP, PVC and any other related products.
